Board-to-board vs Board-to-wire

Board-to-board (BTB) connectors are used to connect printed circuit boards (PCB) to electronic components containing a conductive pattern that is accurately and repeatably printed on the surface of the insulating base. A PCB is attached to each terminal on a BTB connector. Housing and a particular number of terminals are included in a BTB connector.

It provides signal connections for microminiature, high-speed, high-denisty and high-power applications, such as stacking, mezzanine, coplanar, orthogonal and PCB connectors.

Board-to-wire on the other hand, establish the connectivity between wire and a printed circuit board (PCB). They provide robust, modular, compact connector solutions to anticipate and meet the growing demands our customers face.
